Osceola County EM can provide a wide variety of on-site preparedness training/education to citizens, businesses, and 1st responders upon request.  Additionally, starting in April 2023 we began migrating our highest demanded training/education sessions to this website in an effort to meet needs 'on-demand'.

F.E.M.A.'s Emergency Management Institute's Independent Study Program offers hundreds of free, interactive web-based courses on emergency management and disaster preparedness.  These courses provide excellent education on a variety of topics and provide a foundation for preparedness knowledge, education, and training.

State & Federal Emergency Management Training

Resources for on-site and/or online emergency management related training - for professional emergency managers, first responders, and other agencies.  Most are funded through federal or state funding allowing them to be provided free, or of minimal charge, to the student / organization.

MSP-EMHSD Haz-Mat Training Center

MSP-EMHSD and it's partner agency, the Hazardous Materials Training Center offer courses for our state's first responders on a wide variety of topics.

F.E.M.A.'s Emergency Management Institute

EMI serves as the national focal point for the development and delivery of emergency management training to federal, state, local, and tribal responders.

D.H.S. Center for Domestic Preparedness

Located in Anniston, Alabama, the C.D.P. is the nation's premier all-hazards training center specializing in Weapons of Mass Destruction (WMD) training. 

Rural Domestic Preparedness Consortium

Funded by DHS, the R.D.P.C. provides online and in-person training and resources to rural first responders at no cost. - - - - -  - - -  - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

DHS NATIONAL SECURITY INITIATIVE

The NSI Suspicious Activity Reporting (SAR) Initiative provides training for first responders on reporting suspicious activity that could potentially terrorism.

U.S.F.A. NATIONAL FIRE ACADEMY

The USFA offers on-site and on-line courses for our nation's firefighters.  NFA Courses prepare fire personnel to more effectively deal with emergencies and disasters.

National Training and Education Division

NTED offers more than 150 courses to help build critical skills that responders need to function effectively in mass consequence events. 

ALERTT Active Shooter E-Learning

ALERTT's mission is to provide research based training to active shooter incidents.  Their E-Learning options include webinars, courses, and other resources.
