Emergency Management
Current Activities & Information
The Ready Campaign’s 2023 National Preparedness Month theme is “Take Control in 1, 2, 3”. The campaign will focus on preparing older adults for disasters, specifically older adults from communities that are disproportionally impacted by the all-hazard events, which continue to threaten the nation.
Emergency preparedness is important for all citizens and businesses, but especially for seniors who can be disproportionally affected during disasters. Our Preparedness Page provides resources on how to build a kit, be prepared, and other steps to Take Control in 1, 2, 3!
Osceola County Emergency Management currently has numerous volunteer openings available. These range from entry level resume' building opportunities to full emergency management career technical training.
